Kathy Belmonte is a graduate of the Florida Trust School and holds the designations of Certified Trust and Financial Advisor and Accredited Estate Planner®. Kathy is a member and past President of the Tampa Bay Estate Planning Council and is a past president of the National Association of Estate Planners and Councils. Kathy’s community involvement includes the Board of Trustees of The Saunders Foundation, the LifePath Hospice Women of Philanthropy and Ambassador Committee, the Legacy Council of the Crisis Center of Tampa Bay and the Professional Advisor Network of the Community Foundation of Tampa Bay. Kathy also serves on the Board of Directors of the Tampa Club.
Brett Bina graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. He holds both the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation and the CAIA® designation. His investment industry experience spans across 14+ years and he has worked for both European and American financial institutions. He got his start as a risk analyst in the hedge fund industry, and has since gained experience in managing multi-asset portfolios. Before his move to Tampa Bay, Brett volunteered at Mercy Home for Boys & Girls in Chicago. He was also a longtime contributor and writer for CFA Society Chicago, and plans to continue that volunteerism here with CFA Tampa Bay.
Travis Brown earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Real Estate from Florida State University as well as graduating with a Master of Science in Finance from the University of Tampa. Travis holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation and has more than a decade of investment management experience. He enjoys giving back to the St. Petersburg community through volunteer efforts serving on the Board of Trustees of St. Anthony’s Hospital Foundation. In addition, Travis works with Pinellas County Schools serving as a business mentor to students in the Academy of Finance at Northeast High School. Travis is a member of CFA Tampa Bay where he is currently on the board of directors.
Brian Ceras earned a Bachelor of Science from Florida State University, is a graduate of the Florida Bankers Association Graduate Trust School, Cannon Financial Institute’s Trust School and holds the designation of Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA). Brian has over fifteen years of experience in trust administration and investment management. He is a graduate of Leadership St. Pete and committed to serving the St. Petersburg community. As a Past President and member of the Northeast Exchange Club, he is actively involved in improving the lives of children and in the prevention of child abuse. Brian is also a member of the Suncoast Estate Planning Council.
Lucas DeVicente received his Bachelor of Science in Business and his Master’s in International Business from the University of Florida. He is a holder of the Certified Financial Planner™ & Certified Trust Financial Advisor (CTFA) designations, a graduate of Florida Banker’s Trust School, Cannon Financial Institute’s Trust School and the Tuck Executive Program at Dartmouth College. Lucas is the Managing Prinicipal in our Tampa office. He is a Board Member of the Florida Bankers Association Trust & Wealth Management School, First Night and the Tampa Bay History Center. As a fifth-generation resident of Tampa Bay, Lucas is deeply committed to the community and has served on the Board of Trustees for the St. Petersburg Museum of History. In addition, he serves on the Boy Scouts Distinguished Citizens Award Committee for the Tampa Bay Council. He is a graduate of Leadership St. Pete, currently a member of Leadership St. Pete Alumni Association and previously a member of the Morean Arts Center Ambassadors Group & Mayor’s Mentors program.
Kim Early earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Florida and is a graduate of the National Graduate Trust School at Northwestern University. Kim provides more than two decades of experience in trust administration and investment management. Kim commits her personal time to the community as a Eucharistic minister for her church and a trustee for Answered Prayers Project, which helps equip low-income women with workforce opportunities. Kim is also a past trustee for CASA.
Larry Fasan earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Michigan State University and is a graduate of the National Graduate Trust School at Northwestern University. Larry has forty years of experience in trust administration and investment management and is a Managing Principal in our St. Petersburg office. He serves the community through his work as an Advisory Board Member for the Salvation Army St. Petersburg Area Command, for Tampa Bay Watch, and for the Community Foundation of Tampa Bay. He is a professional partner for the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center Foundation and a member of the Suncoast Estate Planning Council. Larry is a founding partner, joining the organization in 1995.
Susan Hines earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management with high honors from the University of Florida Business School and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Florida Law School. Susan is also an honor graduate of the ABA’s National Graduate Trust School at Northwestern University. Susan is a Principal in our Sarasota Office with more than twenty-five years of experience working alongside individuals, families, and charitable organizations developing and administering their personal estate and wealth management plans. Susan is a licensed attorney in Florida and a member of the Florida Bar Association and serves on the Board of Directors of the Sarasota County Bar Association. Susan is a Leadership Sarasota Graduate, an Executive Board Member of the Southwest Florida Estate Planning Council and a past-Chairman of the Venice Area Estate Planning Council. She is passionate about financial literacy and youth development and has committed her time and expertise in the community as a Board Member of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Sarasota County, the Gulf Coast Community Foundation and as a classroom educator for Junior Achievement.
Bryant Jones serves as President and CEO of Sabal Trust Company and brings twenty years of experience in the trust and wealth management arena. Bryant received a Bachelor of Science from The University of Alabama and an MBA from Emory University. He is also a graduate of the Tuck Executive Program at Dartmouth College. Bryant serves on the boards of the Dali Museum and Academy Prep and is a member of the CEO Council of Tampa Bay.
Charles Kard graduated from Stetson University with a Bachelor of Business Administration. Charles holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® and Certified Financial Planner® designations and has more than twenty years of experience in investment management. He is also a graduate of the Tuck Executive Program at Dartmouth College. As a lifelong resident of St. Petersburg, Charles is deeply committed to the Tampa Bay community. He supports child abuse prevention and other causes through his involvement in the Exchange Club of St. Petersburg, where he is a past president. Charles is a member and past president of CFA Tampa Bay and a member of the Suncoast Estate Planning Council.
Rachel Knight earned her Bachelor of Business Administration from Walla Walla University in Washington state. She is a graduate of the Florida Bankers Association Trust School and holds the Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA) designation. Rachel is a member of the Suncoast Estate Planning Council and St. Pete Young Professionals. Committed to her community and clients, she brings almost a decade of experience in trust administration and investment management to the Sabal team.
Beth Knowles earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of South Florida and completed National Graduate Trust School at Northwestern University. Beth has over forty years of experience in trust administration. She is a Managing Principal in our St. Petersburg office. Beth demonstrates her commitment to the community by giving her personal time and expertise to a variety of organizations, including serving on the Board of Trustees of the Suncoast Hospice Foundation for more than twenty years. She is a member of Business and Professional Women/St. Petersburg – Pinellas and also participates in the Pinellas County Estate Planning Council.
Ron Koepsel earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Indiana University and a Juris Doctor from Northern Illinois University College of Law and is a licensed attorney in both Illinois and Florida. Ron holds a Certified Trust and Financial Services Advisor designation and is a member of both the Florida Bar Association and the Sarasota County Bar Association. Ron serves the community as a board member with the Charitable Gift Planners of Southwest Florida and on the Speaker Selection Board for the Ringling College Library Association. Ron previously served as a trustee with John’s Hopkins All Children’s Hospital Foundation, on the Board and Executive Committee of the Community Foundation of Sarasota County and was past president of the Southwest Florida Estate Planning Council.
Gerry Lachnicht earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Science in Finance from Florida International University. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst ® designation and has over twenty years of investment management experience. Gerry is the Managing Principal of our Villages office. He also spent several years as an Adjunct Professor of Finance for Florida Atlantic University. Gerry is dedicated to his community, serving on the board of Habitat for Humanity Lake-Sumter FL, along with their foundation. Additionally, he serves on the board of the Tri-County Estate Planning Council of The Villages, is a supervisor for the Sumter Landing Community Development District and is a member of the Sumter County Industrial Development Authority.
Susan Mittermayr earned a Bachelor of Arts from Erskine College and is a graduate of the Florida Graduate Trust School. She completed the Executive Leadership Program at the Darden School of Business. Her experience in Trust and Investment Management services industry spans more than three decades. She is a Managing Principal in our St. Petersburg office. Susan has generously invested herself in local business and community organizations. She is a member and past president of Suncoast Estate Planning Council, a member and past chair of the board of the YMCA of Greater St. Petersburg and a member and past president of the Rotary Club of St. Petersburg. She also serves on the Parish Finance Council at St. Jude Cathedral and the School board of St. Petersburg Catholic High School. Susan is a founding partner, joining the organization in 1993.
Lowe Morrison received a Bachelor of Science from the University of South Florida, holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation and is a member of the CFA Institute. He is the Managing Principal in our Sarasota office and brings thirty-five years of trust investment management experience to his clients at Sabal Trust. As a sixth generation Floridian, Lowe is committed to improving the communities and environment along his native west coast. He is a Trustee of the Frank E. Duckwall Foundation, an organization dedicated to improving the quality of life in the Tampa Bay region. Lowe is on the board and the Immediate Past Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Mote Marine Laboratory and also serves on the board of the Conservation Foundation of the Gulf Coast. Lowe enjoys a variety of outdoor activities in his spare time.
Scott Pieper is the Chief Investment Officer for Sabal Trust. Scott received a Bachelor of Arts from Lehigh University and an MBA from the University of South Florida, and he completed the Executive Education program at the University of Virginia’s Graduate School of Business. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation and is a graduate of the American Bankers Association National Trust School. Scott is a member of the CFA Institute and a past president of CFA Tampa Bay. Scott is involved in a variety of charitable and philanthropic organizations in the Tampa Bay area. He serves on the board of the Conn Memorial Foundation and on the Investment Committee of the Tampa Metropolitan Area YMCA.
Brent Prudhomme earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Northwestern State University in Louisiana, is a graduate of the Florida Bankers Association Graduate Trust School and holds the designation of Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA). He has over fifteen years of experience in investment management and trust administration. Brent enjoys giving back to the St. Petersburg community through his involvement with the Police Athletic League of St. Petersburg, a charity committed to providing youth of St. Petersburg with the opportunity to become involved with positive activities such as athletics, recreation and education.
Tom Wright is a graduate of The University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics.
